Here at Capability Resources/EZenergy, we are committed to our community. Our program of community initiatives driven and championed by our people is an integral part of our development and contribution to the communities who support us.
Many of the causes we support are close to our hearts so the motivation to achieve and contribute is powerful.
Here are just some of our team's efforts:
UMatter 12-Hour Suicide Awareness Memorial Walk
This meaningful event brings people together to honour those lost to suicide, encourage open conversations, and reduce stigma around mental health. Participants of all ages joined for one lap or the full 12-hour walk, sharing stories, supporting one another, and creating a safe space for connection.
A special thank you to our team members Zack Stewart & Isaac Collins for their dedication in completing the full walk, and to Matt Garn for his outstanding efforts in making the event a success. To founders Vicki Mendyk and Lyndsay Walker, and everyone involved—your commitment to raising awareness makes a real difference.

Out of the Shadows Walk for Suicide Prevention 2025
On World Suicide Prevention Day, team members Katrina Marsden and Craig Sarginson joined the community in the Out of the Shadows Walk, remembering those lost to suicide and raising awareness to support those in crisis.
Every year, over 65,000 Australians attempt to take their own life, and tragically, more than 3,000 lives are lost.
With donations from our team, community and Capability Resources / EZenergy, we were proud to help raise a total of $2,734 – enough to answer 70 crisis calls to Lifeline’s 24/7 hotline.
We’re incredibly proud of Katrina and Craig for stepping up and representing our values in such a meaningful way.
